If I had my choice, I would have picked Golden Retriever or some other dog that isn't associated with killing people or being stuck up. I felt of the two I had to go Poodle, though. And now I'm filled with shame.

I have to comment to correct you on one point.
Bulldogs are not pit bulls. Please consult your local Wikipedia or veterinarian for clarification.
